FDDs are also known as Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with
Mental Retardation (ICF/MRs).
Definition: From Chapter HFS 134, Wisconsin
Administrative Code: "FDD" or "facility for the developmentally
disabled" means a residential facility:

with a capacity of 3 or more residents
-
in
which nursing care is provided to any resident
-
and which primarily serves residents who
are developmentally disabled and who require and receive active treatment.
